Christmas break

Hi,

Very much enjoyed talking about "Small Island". I think it's one of these books that grows on you every time you read it.
As there's no meeting in December, we decided to choose a book which would be difficult to finish in only one month, so we chose Thakeray's "Vanity Fair"...800+ pages (and small font).
I read it year back and loved it - funny, interesting, though provoking and far from straightforward in terms of who is the good or the bad person.
